Respiratory Therapy, The Journal of Pulomnary Technique,
first launched by Brentwood Publishing in 1972, resumes publication
this December. Respiratory Therapy features original articles,
clinical papers, news and product information specifically
for its exclusive audience of respiratory therapists and RT
managers and supervisors. The journal’s international
clinical focus will highlight all aspects of pulmonology and
pulmonology therapies and modalities, including new products,
as well as issues dealing with management of the RT function
as it relates to hospital care, clinical care, costs, legislative
issues and managed care.
Respiratory Therapy will have a controlled circulation of
9,725 RTs, Respiratory Therapy Managers and Supervisors, and
caregivers specializing in all aspects of respiratory care.
Our premiere December/January 2008 issue will feature original
case studies, product reviews, international reports by RTs,
works-in-progress, news about issues relevant to RTs wordwide,
updates about the latest in RT technologies, news about companies
providing respiratory care products, and more.
The December/January 2005 issue of Respiratory Therapy will
have bonus distribution at this year’s AARC convention,
with complimentary copies of the journal distributed to all
participants at the conference.
Respiratory Therapy is being published by Goldstein &
Associates, publishers of the leading journal for perinatology-neonatology,
Neonatal Intensive Care, now in its 13th year. Publisher Steve
Goldstein was formerly with Macmillan, Simon & Schuster,
and Gulf+Western publishing, and with the journal’s
former publishers. Editor Les Plesko is also editor of Neonatal
Intensive Care, and is an instructor at the University of
California, Los Angeles. Editorial contributions are
always welcome.
